Gibbons | Neuman’s Elder Law Attorney, Elizabeth P. Allen, participated in “Ask the Experts: Caregiving 101” on February 18th at Van Dyke Church in Lutz.  The event was focused on caregivers of family members, loved ones, or friends, and was designed to provide useful information for caregivers.  Attendees were able to ask the Panel a variety of questions relating to caregiving for a loved one with mental or physical disabilities.  Liz was there to answer any questions which audience members had on elder law, estate planning, Medicaid, and special needs planning issues.

According to the 2015 AARP report on “Caregiving in the U.S.A.” nearly 1 out of 5 people are now providing long term care services to a family member or loved one. The situation for both the person needing care and the caregiver can be extremely difficult, and finding resources and solutions to ease the burden is critical.

Liz Allen is here to help navigate you and your loved ones through this difficult time.
