Elizabeth P. Allen focuses her practice on people concerned with losing financial security and quality of life due to the cost of long-term health problems or disabilities. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and ElderCounsel. She is co-editor of NAELAs weekly online eBulletin which covers Elder and Special Needs law and cases. Ms. Allen is a member of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar and a member of that Section’s Medicaid Committee. She is also a member of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Allen graduated from the University of South Florida in 1986, earning a B.A. with highest honors. She attended Stetson University College of Law where she received her J.D., with honors, in 1988. Ms. Allen was a member of the faculty at Stetson University College of Law from 1989 to 2001, serving as an Adjunct Professor teaching an academic skills workshop course. Ms. Allen joined Gibbons, Neuman, Bello, Segall, Allen & Halloran, P.A. in 1989 and became a shareholder in 1998. She is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Florida, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
